About Us

Mariah:

I grew up in the northwestern corner of Minnesota. At around the age of 10, I started reading missionary biographies and God began to grow in me an excitement for what He was doing through ordinary men and women willing to go into all the world to share the hope of the gospel. When I graduated high school I did a discipleship program with YWAM that confirmed I would like to continue in the direction of pursuing missions. Before looking into missions organizations I thought it best to become more grounded in God's Word and in 2017 I graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Spokane, WA.

Patrick:

I grew up in a lovely town in Switzerland. I have always been fascinated with both missions and aviation. After high school, I completed a degree in IT and worked in that field for a few years. In 2017 I decided to pursue the two passions I grew up with and moved to the United States to train as a missionary aviator. In 2022 I finished my training at Moody Aviation in Spokane, WA.

How We Met:

We met in 2017, playing ultimate frisbee, and got married in June 2020. We are anticipating the arrival of our child in June.

Where we are headed:

We are working in collaboration with MAF Switzerland and Ethnos360 Aviation. Before we can head overseas, we have a few more years of training ahead of us. From August 2023 to May 2024, we will be at Ethnos360's training center in Missouri. After that, we will move to Arizona for some more technical training. During that time, we will be assigned a country of service.
